The Overwatch community is mourning one of their own today with the shocking news of Dennis “INTERNETHULK” Hawelka’s unexpected passing, as announced by Team Liquid’s Twitter account. He was 30 at the time.

INTERNETHULK came into the Overwatch scene with IDDQD before moving onto Team EnVyUs, where they took first place in multiple tournaments, including APEX Season 1 and MLG Vegas 2016. His support play was a major factor in those wins. From there, he moved on to coaching Team Liquid, who took second place in Overwatch Contenders Season Zero NA. He was one of the first players to move into the coaching role successfully.
Team EnVyUs also tweeted out a statement on INTERNETHULK’s passing.

INTERNETHULK also had careers in World of Warcraft, Starcraft 2 and League of Legends before settling into Overwatch.
