In a surprise announcement made by the Overwatch League’s New York Excelsior, Scott “BEARHANDS” Tester and the Excelsior have parted ways.

According to the briefly worded official announcement on the Excelsior web site:
We’ve mutually agreed to part ways with Director of Player Personnel, Scott Tester. We thank him for all of his efforts in making the launch of NYXL such a success and wish him the best in his future endeavors.
Tester was a part of the Excelsior from the beginning and helped select the original eight-man roster.
The Excelsior have been the top performing team in the inaugural season of the Overwatch League sporting a combined 26-3 overall record while making it to the finals of the first two stages where they grabbed a win in Stage 2.
